Kyrie Irving’s Celtics Dominates the NBA season rankings past Steph Curry’s Warriors and LeBron James’ Cavaliers.

Many was shocked when Kyrie Irving requested a trade from Cleveland Cavaliers. So shocked that the almost all of the NBA teams reportedly lined up in hopes of landing the sweepstakes trade. Boston Celtics clearly won the Lottery as they are now the league's number 1 with 15 straight wins and 2 losses compared to Warriors with 13-4 or the struggling Cavaliers’ 9-4 at best.

Bostons only lost the first 2 matches which included the gruesome season opening injury of their new star Gordon Hayward against the Cavaliers. Irving tried to rally his team mates to bounce back and nearly won the game. Without taking a breather, Celtics went up against the Greek Freak and lost but did put up a fight. Many were quick to rule out the Boston from the threat list in the eastern conference only to be stunned after the C’s racked up their win one after another. Recently the bested the reigning 2016-2017 Champions Golden state warriors on a close fight 92-88 win.

Surprisingly young talents stepped up like Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, both selected by the Celtics with the third overall pick of 2016 and 2017  contributing solid 15.8 points, 6.6 boards and 13.9 points, 5.6 boards per game respectively this season. Balanced team play and smart coaching also helped the team to compensate from their lost key player.

Boston also tops the seasons defensive efficiency rankings at number 1 and is 29 teams apart from Irving’s previous team, the 2015-2016 Champions Cleveland Cavaliers sinking deep into the last place. Golden State Warriors currently number 1 in points per game and Cleveland ranks 3rd, are stronger in offensive prowess but still no match for the C’s top level defensive plays.

Irving and his team are now set to meet up with Dallas Mavericks’ home on November 20, 2017 @ 8:30 pm looking to extend their winning streak
